Wales’ largest independent heating and plumbing company has appointed a new Installations Manager to oversee its growing team of engineers.
Craig Griffin has joined the Llanishen based business after spending several years in a similar role for a national company.
“I am delighted to join the Heatforce team,” said Craig, “and it’s great to be part of a forward-thinking company that is growing quickly yet still has a family feel.”
With a diverse range of products and services, the company founded over 35 years ago by Paul Maddocks has developed into one of Wales’ success stories and employs over 110 staff, many of whom Craig will be managing.
“The installation team is the largest department in the company,” continued Craig, “and we have engineers working throughout Wales and the South West installing everything from boilers and solar PV to air-source heat pumps, biomass boilers and more.”
With a focus on day-to-day customer engagement, Craig’s role is as much about quality inspections as it is customer satisfaction, as he explained.
“Safety is of paramount importance, and while all of our team are qualified engineers and install in line with Gas Safe Standards, a key part of my role is to quality check their work and make sure the customers are happy.”
With a customer base that includes local authorities, housing associations, charities, utility companies, and residential properties, the business is rapidly expanding.
“It’s an exciting time to be part of Heatforce,” continued Craig, “and with plans in place to become a nation-wide organisation over the next few years, the installation team will be playing a central role in achieving that goal.”
